Your Kybella experience at Prejuvenation Aesthetics starts with a personal consultation with our cosmetic injector. She’ll determine the number of vials necessary to treat the unwanted fat tissues under your chin — most patients need 3 vials during their first session. She’ll also curate your long-term Kybella treatment plan.
Treatment
The targeted areas will be cleansed and iced — this numbs your skin and ensures optimal comfort. The cosmetic injector will draw the Kybella into syringes and deliver them strategically around your chin and neck. The injections are evenly distributed to prevent uneven results or lumping. The entire procedure takes 10 to 15 minutes.
Side Effects
You may experience mild redness, swelling, discomfort, stinging, and burning sensations around the treatment areas because of the acid. The swelling may last for up to seven days, and the treatment areas will be tender. However, you can resume most of your daily activities immediately after the treatment — there’s no downtime.
